Military

I started putting this book together in April 2012.  It all started when we were looking at pictures with Granpa, which we had done many times.  We knew each and every picture, who they were and what it was, even the random mix of new and old pictures all together.  Then he started telling us about the name of his Jeep.  I started taking notes and thinking about how there was more information to these pictures, and how I would put this information with these pictures.  Then I realized I could make a photo book to tell his story.  Some of the story is taken from his writings, and the rest is from asking him questions and from documents, paperwork, etc.  He never talked much about his military experience during the war, in fact, when asked about what they were told in debriefing he said, "they told us not to talk about it, nobody would believe us anyway".
